MedSignals’ early prototypes were used in clinical trials to test usability of features and design.  All studies aimed to look at efficacy secondarily, and each showed statistically significant improvement in adherence when the MedSignals devices were actively signaling. 
All studies are currently being prepared for publication.  All were funded by National Institutes of Health, Small Business Innovation Research grants to develop and test new technologies:
